When will my order ship?
Here’s how it works: you order → we process → we ship → you receive your order
Ordering takes a few seconds. Standard processing takes 1-3 business days. Then one of our carriers takes it from there and you will get your order delivered after additional 1-3 business days. In total, you should expect to receive your order within 6 working days after you placed in your order unless otherwise stated for specific products. You’ll get a shipment notification email with a tracking number as soon as your package ships. It’s on the way!
How We Ship Your Order?
Orders are shipped via An Post - ROI and GLS - Europe/World. Tracking information will be emailed once your order has been dispatched. Both companies require a signature on receipt and operate Monday to Friday. Please ensure there is someone available to accept and sign for your parcel.
What are the delivery costs - Republic of Ireland
We schedule shipments with the contact details provided at checkout (email, phone number, and delivery address). Always make sure the information provided at checkout is correct to avoid unnecessary delays with your delivery.
All orders are sent via An Post and will be delivered anytime between 9am and 5pm. A signature will be required upon receipt of your order. If there is no-one available to accept the package a calling card will be left behind for you so you can re-arrange delivery.
Flat Shipping Charge - €6.50 on all orders
SHIPPING T&C
1. Your contact details are required for contact purposes. Available at cart, prior to proceeding to checkout. If you enter the incorrect address, a redelivery fee will apply.
2. Customers will be provided with tracking information once your parcel has been shipped.
3. Your order is sent directly from a Warehouse (due to stock availability, some parcels may be dispatched with delay) Dance World will make every effort to deliver on time. However, we shall not be held liable for lost/delayed shipment.
4. Delivery times specified are estimates only, delivery to rural addresses may take longer and once shipped Dance World is not liable for any delays.
Returns & Refunds
If you have purchased an item from www.danceworld.ie and would like to return it, you can do so within (excluding facemasks, tights and underwear) within 30 days of receipt for a refund. This is in line with current distance selling regulations.

No personal deliveries will be accepted at the above address. You can exchange item purchased on www.danceworld.ie in any of our Dublin stores.
In all cases, the returned items must be in their original condition and suitable for resale which includes tags and any packaging. In the unlikely event that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition, we may decline to accept it and may send it back to you.
What is your returns and refunds policy?
All returns must be made within 30 days from date of purchase, items purchased more than 30 days ago cannot be returned.
All items must be unused, with all labelling attached and in resale condition to qualify for a refund via original method of payment, shipping costs are non-refundable
Please pack up your item, complete with all the tags and completed return form as failure to do so may mean we will be unable to process your return.
We offer FREE returns via An Post. (*Republic of Ireland only*) Simply follow the steps below to return unwanted items. Items bought on danceworld.ie can only be returned for refund. We do not offer exchanges.
How to make An Post free return?
- Fill out the return form which was shipped within your order. Remember to enclose this form within your returning parcel to enable us to process your return without delay.
- Click on An Post return link to start the refund process.
- To avoid delay we recommend using the drop-off option at your local post office rather than collection.
- Please retain proof of postage until we have confirmed your refund has been completed. Returns can take few working days (excluding weekends and public holidays) to arrive back to us.
Please allow 7 working days for us to receive your return. Once received, we will inspect and process your return within 10 working days, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If your return is approved, then your refund will be processed, any refund will automatically be issued to the card used to make the original purchase. We will usually refund what you paid for your order but not the delivery charge unless your order was faulty or cancelled under the Selling Regulations or the entire order was faulty or incorrect.

Track Your Order – Dance World x An Post
Thank you for shopping with Dance World! We want to keep you updated every step of the way. Here’s how you can easily track your order through An Post Ireland:
1. When Your Order Ships
Once your order has been packed and dispatched, we’ll send you a shipping confirmation email. This email includes:
- Your An Post tracking number
- A direct link to track your parcel online
2. How to Track Your Order
To follow your order’s journey:
- Open your shipping confirmation email
- Click the tracking link provided, or go directly to An Post Tracking
- Enter your tracking number in the search box for live updates
3. What the Tracking Updates Mean
Here’s what you might see on your tracking page:
- Pre-advice Received – We’ve created the label and An Post has been notified
- In Transit – Your order is on its way
- Out for Delivery – It’s arriving today!
- Delivered – Your order has been delivered and signed for
4. Delivery Notes
An Post delivers Monday to Friday, between 9am–5pm. A signature is required on delivery. If you’re not available, a missed delivery notice will be left so you can reschedule or collect from your local depot.

Shopping in person? Our classic physical gift cards are available at both our Parnell Street and Ranelagh locations. They're perfect if you want something to pop into a card, wrap up in a bow, or hand over with a big smile. Great for birthdays, recitals, or “just because” moments!
Online Vouchers
Prefer to shop from the sofa (or send a gift across the miles)? Our online gift vouchers are fast, fuss-free, and delivered straight to your inbox. Powered by Shopify, they come with a unique code that can be used at checkout on our website – perfect for last-minute surprises or long-distance gifting.
How to Use:
- In Store Gift Cards: Just bring your physical gift card to the till.
- Online Vouchers: Pop the voucher code into the box at checkout – done!
A Few Things to Know:
- Gift cards and vouchers don’t expire – ever! (loads of time to decide).
- Can be used on everything from pointe shoes to tutus.
- Non-refundable and can’t be exchanged for cash.
- Lost cards = gone for good, so keep them safe!
