Bodile's size ranges intentionally overlap. If your bust, waist or hips comfortably fit two sizes, use torso length as an important deciding measurement for leotards. A longer torso may feel more comfortable in the larger overlapping size, while a shorter torso may suit the smaller option.
How to Measure for Bodile Dancewear
Measure over underwear or close-fitting dancewear using a flexible tape measure. Stand naturally and keep the tape comfortably against the body without pulling it tight.
Torso Length
Key Leotard MeasurementFollow Bodile's measuring diagram and measure the length of the torso vertically down the body. Keep the tape straight and close to the body without pulling it tight.
Bodile calls this measurement Torso Length. It should not be substituted with the full shoulder-through-crotch girth loop commonly used by some other dancewear brands.
Bust
Measure around the fullest part of the bust, keeping the tape straight and level around the body without compressing it.
Waist
Measure around the natural waist, usually the narrowest part of the torso. Keep the tape level and comfortably close to the body.
Hips
Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat while standing naturally. Keep the tape level all the way around.
Height
Stand straight without shoes, with feet flat on the floor, and measure from the floor to the top of the head.
Height is not included in Bodile's women's size table, but it can be useful when considering overall body proportions alongside torso length.

Pale SUPRABLIME® Mesh & White LEOPREME® Fabric
The SUPRABLIME® mesh overlay follows the shaped front panels to a softly pointed lower edge. Its pale rose-beige tone gently warms the white fabric beneath. Sheer mesh continues below the deep scoop back opening, with a small gold emblem completing the design.
The main body uses LEOPREME® - 80% nylon and 20% Lycra. Its soft-touch, demi-matte finish combines supportive stretch with shape retention, pilling resistance and moisture-wicking properties.
The main body is unlined. A separate underbust panel contains supportive elastic and self-fabric lining, concentrating support beneath the bust. The pale body and intentionally sheer neckline and back are worth considering when choosing underlayers. A classic ballet leg line and 100% cotton gusset finish this Australian-designed leotard.

Sofia runs short through the body. Bodile recommends sizing up for a longer torso. Compare your measurements with the size chart, then raise both arms during fitting to check that the fixed straps and neckline sit comfortably without pulling.
Pair Nougat Frost with the Bodile Mika mesh skirt for a slim high-low silhouette with adjustable ruching and a side split. For more sweep, Julieta’s longer, full-circle mesh shape creates a flowing rehearsal outfit. Choose complementary white or blush tones from the available shades, then add a cream wrap between sessions.
