Can I Go En Pointe with Demi Pointe Shoes?

It's important to know that while demi pointe shoes have a reinforced toe box, they lack a hard shank (reinforced insole). This means you cannot dance en pointe in demi pointe shoes. These shoes are specifically designed to help you build the necessary strength and technique for future pointe work. Focus on using demi pointe shoes in your training to prepare your feet for the transition to full pointe shoes safely and effectively.
