Caring for Your PortDance Leather Dance Shoes

Reserve your PD008 shoes for indoor dancing and brush the suede sole pads regularly with a dance shoe brush. Grip and glide depend on both the floor and the condition of the suede.

PD008 Premium should hold the heel and midfoot securely, with the toes lying naturally inside the closed front. Use the laces to refine the fit across the instep, and try the shoes with your usual dance socks or hosiery.

The leather may soften with wear, but the shoes should not feel painfully tight when new. If you are between sizes or unsure about width, contact Dance World with your foot measurements. Try on clean carpet before wearing on a dance floor.

Use on clean, dry indoor dance floors. Keep the suede contact pads away from outdoor surfaces and moisture. Brush the suede gently with a dance-shoe brush when it becomes smooth or compacted, keeping the brush away from the leather upper and flexible midfoot section.

Wipe surface dust from the leather with a soft, dry cloth. Use only a suitable leather-care product, testing on a discreet area first and keeping it away from the suede sole. Do not soak or machine wash.
