Tendu Thick Elastic – Measuring & Sewing

Choose the placement with your teacher or pointe shoe fitter, then measure with your shoes on. Plan the sections for both shoes before cutting, leaving enough length for secure stitching. The elastic should lie flat and feel comfortably secure as you point and gently flex your foot.

Dance World Tip: Check for twists before attaching both ends. Adjust the placement or length before trimming if the elastic pulls, digs in or feels loose.
