Bodile's size ranges intentionally overlap. If your bust, waist or hips comfortably fit two sizes, use torso length as an important deciding measurement for leotards. A longer torso may feel more comfortable in the larger overlapping size, while a shorter torso may suit the smaller option.
How to Measure for Bodile Dancewear
Measure over underwear or close-fitting dancewear using a flexible tape measure. Stand naturally and keep the tape comfortably against the body without pulling it tight.
Torso Length

Bodile calls this measurement Torso Length. It should not be substituted with the full shoulder-through-crotch girth loop commonly used by some other dancewear brands.
Bust
Measure around the fullest part of the bust, keeping the tape straight and level around the body without compressing it.
Waist
Measure around the natural waist, usually the narrowest part of the torso. Keep the tape level and comfortably close to the body.
Hips
Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat while standing naturally. Keep the tape level all the way around.
Height
Stand straight without shoes, with feet flat on the floor, and measure from the floor to the top of the head.
Height is not included in Bodile's women's size table, but it can be useful when considering overall body proportions alongside torso length.

Rose Velvet Panelling & ECOSCULPT® Fabric
The velvet front follows curved vertical seams towards a softly pointed lower edge. Pale pink branded elastic frames the square neckline, while full-length, breathable mesh sleeves extend to the wrists. A gold butterfly clasp fastens at the nape above the open back, with signature gold branding completing the design.
The main body uses ECOSCULPT® - 78% ECONYL® regenerated nylon and 22% Lycra. Two-way stretch, supportive compression and strong shape retention create a close, sculpting feel. The fabric also resists pilling and has moisture-wicking properties.
A classic ballet leg line and 100% cotton gusset finish this Australian-designed leotard. Coverage varies across the velvet front and smooth body, with intentionally sheer sleeves and a large back opening.
Fit & Styling Your Bon Bon Ballet Leotard
Valentina runs true to size, with a close ballet fit. Ease the main body into position before settling the sleeves and fastening the clasp, taking care to avoid pulling on the mesh.
Pair Bon Bon with the Julieta full-circle mesh skirt for a longer, flowing rehearsal silhouette. For a shorter outfit with more velvet texture, choose Zara. A light skirt shade keeps the combination soft, while a deeper colour adds contrast beneath the bodice. Leotards and skirts are sold separately.
