Apolla Socks FAQ
- Reduce Swelling: Compression socks improve blood flow. This helps reduce fluid buildup in your legs, ankles, and feet. As a result, swelling is reduced.
- Relieve Pain: Improved circulation can alleviate pain caused by conditions like plantar fasciitis, varicose veins, and muscle soreness.
- Speed Up Recovery: Compression socks help remove waste products, like lactic acid, from muscles. This speeds up recovery after workouts or injuries.
- Prevent Blood Clots: They can help prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT), especially during travel or prolonged inactivity.
- Boost Energy: By improving circulation, compression socks can help your legs feel less tired and more energized.
Compression socks act like a gentle massage for your legs, promoting better blood flow and overall leg health.
Apolla Socks stand out from other compression socks due to these key features:
- Patented Targeted Compression: Apolla doesn't just squeeze your calves. We also provide arch support, ankle stability, and padding shown in studies to reduce force, along with graduated compression. Using 20-30mmHg we target key support points for pain relief and stability that other compression socks miss.
- Enhanced Performance: Most compression socks focus just the compression in the calf for increased circulation. We do that and so much more! Apolla also gives a secure and responsive feel. This helps improve balance and your awareness of your body in space.
- Ultra Comfort: Apolla prioritizes comfort. It has a seamless design and a spacious toe box. Our certified sustainable materials are breathable, odor resistant and moisture wicking.
- Durability and Quality: Apolla Socks are made with high-quality materials and 100% USA-made rigorous construction, making them more durable than typical compression socks. They can also replace multiple pairs of socks in your drawer with many customers wearing them multiple times before washing.
- Backed by Research and Professionals: Apolla's technology is backed by scientific studies and trusted by athletes and medical professionals worldwide. They also have the Seal of Acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association.
They are not just your average cheap sock, Apolla combines the benefits of compression, orthotic-like support, brace-like stability, and comfort, creating a sock that goes beyond the typical recovery sock and truly elevates performance.
While some people find it comfortable and beneficial to sleep in compression socks, it's not a one-size-fits-all answer.
Here's why:
- Personal Medical Considerations: Whether or not it's safe for you to sleep in compression socks depends on your individual health conditions and medical history. It's essential to talk to your doctor first, especially if you have circulation problems, diabetes, or other conditions that might be affected by compression.
- Comfort and Preference: Some people love the feeling of gentle compression while they sleep, finding it helps with restless legs or morning swelling. Others might find it too constricting or uncomfortable. It's really about personal preference.
We often hear from Apolla customers who enjoy sleeping in their socks, but we always recommend consulting with your doctor to make sure it's right for you. Your health and safety are our top priorities!
Here's the breakdown:
- mmHg: This stands for "millimeters of mercury," which is a unit of pressure, it has nothing to do with real mercury and does NOT mean our socks have mercury in them!
- 20-30: This is the range of pressure the socks provide, measured in mmHg. 20 mmHg is considered mild compression, while 30 mmHg is considered moderate compression.
The higher the mmHg, the stronger the compression...or the squeeze you feel on your leg. Apolla Socks fall into the moderate compression category, which means they provide a significant amount of pressure to help.
We chose this level of compression for Apolla compression socks because it offers stronger support. This stronger support leads to better performance. It is also the point in compression level where it is more effective before range of motion is impacted. The benefits of our compression are:
- Improve blood circulation
- Reduce swelling
- Relieve pain
- Speed up muscle recovery
It's important to note that the right compression level for you depends on your individual needs and should be discussed with your doctor if you have any underlying health conditions.
Apolla Socks might seem pricier than your average pair, but think of them as a one-stop shop for foot health and performance. They combine the benefits of multiple products, saving you money and hassle in the long run.
Here's what sets Apolla apart and makes them worth the price. In ONE pair of Apolla Socks you get:
- Targeted Compression: Like wearing a compression sleeve, but for your whole foot and ankle.
- Arch Support: Like having a custom orthotic, but built right in and more benefits than orthotic alone.
- Ankle Stability: Like taping your ankles, but more comfortable and less wasteful.
- Impact Cushioning: Like wearing shock-absorbing shoes, but with added graduated compression.
Plus, you get all the added benefits of:
- Patented Technology: Apolla Socks use unique, patented technology that you won't find in other socks. This includes targeted compression zones and specialized designs that provide superior support, pain relief, and performance enhancement.
- Premium Materials: Apolla uses high-quality, sustainable, durable materials that are built to last. This means your socks will hold their shape, compression level, and effectiveness for longer, making them a better value in the long run.
- Made in the USA: Apolla Socks are 100% made in the USA, supporting American jobs and ensuring high manufacturing standards.
- Proven Results: Apolla Socks are backed by scientific studies and are trusted by athletes and medical professionals worldwide. You're not just buying a sock; you're buying a product that's been proven to deliver results.
- Guaranteed Satisfaction: Apolla offers a satisfaction guarantee and hassle-free returns and exchanges, so you can try their socks risk-free.
So, while the initial price might seem higher, you're actually getting more bang for your buck with Apolla. It's an investment in your well-being that pays off in comfort, performance, and long-term health.
