The four-way stretch canvas adapts across the length and width of the forefoot, following the toes closely without feeling rigid or creating excessive loose material.

Underneath, suede sole patches protect the high-friction areas of the forefoot while providing the controlled release needed for pirouettes, travelling turns and directional movement.

Capezio’s exceptionally flat pleats keep the underside particularly low profile. This reduces noticeable gathering beneath the toes and helps the forefoot feel smoother and more connected to the working surface.

A soft microfibre lining creates a comfortable layer against the skin. The fit is completed by a plush primary elastic and a silicone-lined secondary elastic, which work together to hold the shoe securely around the heel and beneath the arch.

The stretch upper is designed to contour closely around the forefoot, while the flat pleats minimise unnecessary bulk beneath the working area. Two different elastics combine soft contact with secure placement.

All shoes are displayed in UK sizes. The size printed on the shoe or box may differ due to the manufacturer's international sizing system.

The Capezio Hanami Pirouette is designed for a close, sculpted performance fit.

Capezio recommends that women begin with their regular street shoe size. Men should begin approximately two sizes above their regular street shoe size.

Half sizes and dancers with a wider or fuller forefoot are encouraged to choose the next size up.

When checking the fit barefoot:
• The suede working surface should sit directly beneath the ball of the foot, including when rising onto relevé.
• The toes should lie flat and relaxed rather than curling or knuckling.
• The stretch canvas should sit closely without excessive loose fabric.
• The elastics should hold the shoe securely without cutting into the heel or arch.

A turning pad positioned too far forward or behind the ball of the foot can make rotation less comfortable, even when the labelled size appears correct.

Fit guidance is intended as a starting point. Foot width, toe length, forefoot volume and preferred performance fit can affect the final choice.

Spot clean the canvas after use with a soft, slightly damp cloth.

For deeper cleaning, gently hand wash using cold water and mild detergent. Avoid prolonged soaking, particularly around the suede working patches and elastic system.

Allow the shoes to air dry naturally away from direct heat and sunlight. Do not tumble dry.

Brush the suede patches lightly with a clean suede brush when required to help maintain their texture.
