Tendu Pointe Shoe Inlays – Fitting & Placement

Bring your usual toe pads to the fitting so everything can be assessed together. An inlay changes the space inside your shoe; the amount of adjustment varies rather than equalling a fixed reduction in shoe size.

Dance World Tip: Once fitted, keep each inlay with its intended shoe to make recreating your usual setup easier. Both shoes do not automatically need an insert. Inlays cannot restore support to a worn-out box or shank. Have shoes that feel too soft checked by your teacher or fitter.
