Tendu Suede Pointe Shoe Tips – Fitting & Application

Position the rounded section over the platform, with the narrower extension folding underneath the front of the shoe. Mark and trim each patch before gluing, keeping it flat and the lower edge neat beside the sole. Follow your chosen adhesive’s instructions and allow it to cure fully before dancing.

Dance World Tip: Fit each tip separately, as your shoes may differ slightly. Ask your teacher or fitter about platform preparation, then check the finished shoes’ grip on your usual dance floor.

Product Care

Keep unused tips dry and flat. After fitting, allow your pointe shoes to air between wears and gently remove loose surface dust with a soft, dry brush. Avoid soaking the suede or the shoe. Inspect the edges and surface regularly, and replace worn-through tips.
