Start with a small amount and check the fit before adding more. Your toes should sit comfortably without feeling crowded. A pointe shoe fitter can help you choose the amount and placement, taking any other padding you wear into account.

• Shape it into a soft layer or small section and position it around or between the toes as advised.
• Put on your pointe shoes with your usual tights and any other padding. Check that the wool lies comfortably and your toes are not crowded.

Keep unused wool clean and dry in its resealable pouch, away from damp shoes and worn padding. Remove used wool from your shoes after dancing so the shoes can air. Replace wool that becomes soiled, matted or compressed and no longer provides the cushioning you need. Follow any care directions supplied on your pack.
