The wrap waist can be adjusted using the jersey ties, but the correct size is still important for comfortable coverage through the front and back. Use the dancer’s waist and hip measurements as the main guide rather than relying on age alone.

So Danca notes that many dancers choose a size larger than their usual clothing size. If the dancer is between sizes, the larger option may provide more comfortable coverage and growing room.

Size 8–10 measures approximately 10.5 inches at the back.

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and hang to dry.

Secure the ties loosely or place the skirt inside a mesh laundry bag to reduce tangling. Wash with similar colours and keep the sheer jersey away from Velcro, open zips and rough surfaces that could cause snagging.

Do not tumble dry, as heat can place unnecessary stress on the stretch fibres.
