The stretch waistband allows the skirt to pull on easily and sit over a leotard. Use the dancer’s waist and hip measurements as the main sizing guide rather than relying on age alone.

Many dancers choose a size larger than their usual clothing size. If the dancer is between sizes, the larger option may provide a more comfortable fit and additional growing room.

The manufacturer lists a 13-inch hem on size 8–10.

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and hang to dry.

Do not tumble dry, as heat can place unnecessary stress on the stretch fibres. Wash with similar colours and keep the delicate mesh away from zips, Velcro and other items that could cause snagging.
